We just started using Vidyard and can see analytics about our videos. However, we want to see on an individual level, what videos and how many videos a particular person/prospect watched. We ask for their email address b4 they watch and allow them to skip entering their email if they wish. Is this the best practice or is there a better way to track how long and what each person is watching? Is tracking analytics for individuals a HubSpot thing, a Vidyard thing, or a combo of both? Larry Kagan have you explored the Vidyard Dashboard for the content you've created? That tends to be a good place to get started. On the left-hand side of your Vidyard page, you can go to the Insights > Dashboard screen!

Dear Impact Plus Team, Tom DiScipio has informed me that option 2 in creating a "in-between page, like the one on the website that was linked in the main news feed. Like this one sample from another company would be the best route to go. But I also did not want to waste upgrading my basic plan to pro for calendly, so I added 5 more events to the booking page.

The only difference is that I don't know what I can provide of value unless I can use the rate sheet that I had created professionally.

But the biggest thing I don't know how to create this and then add it to my website.

Is there anyone that... See More

Jimmy Beasley the key here for me is creating something that's valuable, downloadable, and clearly educates your customer on something they may not know about. This can be as simple as an infographic (like the one from Mazzella that you linked) or something more complex like a DIY guide to testing your security. From what I'm seeing here, I think it could be valuable to have something before a calendly scheduling call.
One of the things I find to be equal parts fascinating and completely frustrating is the "inside baseball" side of SEO. There's this whole world of seemingly super technical stuff that influences how well our ideal buyers are able (or not able to) discover the content we're creating for them.

And yet these stories are often shoved aside or dismissed as being irrelevant.

This story is just one example. It's easy to think that stories about "internal linking" and site structure are too abstract for you to care about or understand, but that's not the case.

As I said in that article:

"... while it's easy to dismiss these little morsels of strategic SEO expertise as being "too in the weeds" to be relevant to how well your content strategy gets... See More

I was shocked to see this when it came out. From the content side, internal links were at the core of what I understood, but now it seems like it makes Google not understand what's going on. Small things make a big difference, especially in this case.

A quick story on not asking for help when it comes to editing
As ALL of you may have noticed, yesterday I sent out an email with a typo in the subject line that was, well, pretty darn obvious. While ANNOUNCEMENT is absolutely on my list of "words I don't like typing", the real issue that came from my mistake was attempting to rush something out without listening to that voice in the back of my head telling me to have someone look it over for me.

Coincidentally, I got three messages from my team within five minutes of it going out saying they spotted the error and wanted to make sure I saw it too. Each one of them followed up with, "You can always send it my way if you need a second set of eyes!"

In my Cave of Shame (Trademark, all... See More

Stephanie Baiocchi , thanks for the 3D cover, I love it. I will upload it very soon. Also to the the Impact + Team the rate sheet is finally done and i will post images. All that is left is the content for the lead magnet. See More

Jimmy Beasley In my experience, the key is to provide value first on the pricing page. They may be comparing you with competitors or trying to learn more about your company before trying to connect with you. What  Stephanie Baiocchi  is eluding to is making sure they get the information they want then decide "Yes I want to speak with Jimmy" or "No, this isn't the right choice for me" but they make that choice.

So, the recommendation might be to have a "Contact Us" button (or whatever form you may choose) at the bottom of the pricing page so they know what the next step would be if they like what they find on your pricing page.

In an industry where the expectations are to kill or be killed, Microsoft took a stand in their new update to Windows 11, saying that, "Operating systems and devices should mold to our needs, not the other way around."

With that in mind, Microsoft's CEO continued in talking about how they want to bring technology more together. "[Microsoft's] technology is being built to work with as many products as possible, including software for competing Google Android smartphones."

The article continues, talking through Windows's goal of allowing developers and even Google with their apps to go onto Windows and the Microsoft Store and sell their programs for next to no commissions to Microsoft itself, a heavy shift from the industry standard.

Dear Community,

Been working hard, and the leadmagnet is almost done, it is not perfect. I have decided instead of spending more money to have someone make one for me, I would create one myself but use the blog content. See More

I'm someone who loves to read business, leadership, marketing, and overall Professional books 24/7 however I've been challenging myself to read other books recently to try to balance things out and not burn myself out on professional reads.

The two books that I've been really enjoying are Billy Martin: Baseball's Flawed Genius & The Bomber Mafia.

So I'm curious, what books have you been reading that are moreFunreads vs. Professional? How do you keep yourself balanced?

Dear Community,

Besides the lead generator, because I am not sure how long that will take me to get done. And I don't have the money to make it easier for me and save more time to have someone create one. Because I have been in business for 10 years and no sales. My main focus is to get conversions, but don't know. Any ideas anyone, please. I know this is embarrassing and probably not a good idea to post, I have invested $58,000 into my dream. See More

Jimmy Beasley I know it can feel overwhelming right now, but to get an increase in conversions, it's going to take a little time to build things out. The other thing I might recommend is doing 1:1 outreach with local churches (as I know that's a market for you) and see what kind of engagement they provide. Either through email, phone, or face to face (if you're comfortable) you can build a strong connection with them in being proactive!
Dear impactplus community,

I have tried and tried, and searched and searched but I have made a mistake. I did not write down the original one-liner(sales pitch) that I came up with. Not sure how to salvage this. or mend this. But the only thing I have now, is Connor's version: Connor's version:

Thanks to Connor, he was to able find the original.

Original 1st Draft:

"Most businesses struggle with knowing how to mitigate cybersecurity attacks. I help them mitigate data breaches, enable growth, and to help keep people’s valuable information safe."

"Most businesses struggle with knowing how to mitigate cybersecurity attacks. I help them mitigate data breaches, enable growth and to help keep people’s valuable information safe."
Dear Community,

Thank you for the warm welcome. This is my first challenge. As I don't know where to begin. I am trying to create a lead generator( inbound lead generation) something of value that I can give. But I can't think of anything.

The steps:

1.)The topic would be on cybersecurity and churches
2.) Content for the pdf.
3.) Designing the pdf.

Question: Does anyone know anything that would be of value that customers would want?

Thank you for your time, patience, and assistance.

Hello! I'm starting to get more opportunities to visit our customer sites, which has been great to better understand our customers and the industries we serve (I'm new to industrial marketing and having to wear steel toe boots :) ).

As marketers, what kinds of questions do you ask when you interact with your customers? See More
Connor DeLaney
My first question to you,  Rachel Anderko , would be, what do you want to learn about them and how do you want to turn that into potential content for your company? That may seem like a pretty "Well duh, Connor" question, however, sometimes writing out the goals of those convos will help guide where they actually go!

Also,  Nathan Dube Adam Stahl Chazz Hirschfeld Brandi Manuel Bri Carlisle   Bri Stauffer  what recommendations would you have for Rachel?
It's easy to look back and say "I would've done XYZ differently if I'd known." At the same time, so many learning opportunities come out of those experiences, good and bad, and it can be hard to say you wouldn't be where you are with it if you didn't go through that.

Still though, I'm sure there are some opportunities where you would've turned back the clock just a bit to do it differently.

So here is today's question:

If you could go back to when you first started implementing They Ask, You Answer, what is one thing you would tell yourself or your team to have done differently?
