Interestingly, they called us and did not submit their email, so how do I know it was from a blog I wrote?
I set the date range in the Geo reports in Google Analytics under Search Console to Jan 1, 2013 – today and am ONLY TRACKING return visitors from Totowa, NJ 07512 (location of the client). There have only been three return customers during that time, 2 of which visited and revisited the site on 10/1/2019.
However, by tracking the landing pages of the most recent visitor and looking at this report, you can see that the first time that visitor from our client visited us was on 2/08/21 (this was also confirmed by their own word of mouth later) and their first interaction was reading my post:
You can see the date for when the content in the report below was viewed by clicking the secondary dimension button and changing the setting to “date”. This proves the user on 2/08/21 was the same user who consumed the subsequent content on 8/3, 8/4 and 8/5 of this year. And again, this was later confirmed by the client in person at our physical location.
I thought this info may be useful to other companies trying to link content to customers who have not submitted an email or filled out a form.

(grin) Probably working with current customers.Me: Why is that true?Sales Leader: We have already earned their trust and we know a lot more about them as a company.Me: So should we work on outbound training the next few weeks?Sales Leader: Nope. You said it, let's go after the revenue!It's easy to get caught up in your own priorities and deadlines. They become very important because YOU make them important. Hi there IMPACT+ Fam! My company is going to be running a social media photo contest in which people may submit one photograph of anything related to their company's packaging (packaged products, their packaging line, the packaging materials they use, their packaging team, etc.) on social media for a chance to win $500 off an order of $1,500 or more from our company.The rules and regulations for the contest are as follows:1. Limit one photo submission per person. Additional photos from a person who has already submitted one photo will not be counted as submissions to the contest. 2. People submitting photos to the contest must share packaging related photos from their business which must be company or business that produces physical products that have packaging. 3. Contestants must be 18 years of age or older. 4. Absolutley no sexual or violent content may be submitted. 5. Contest is limited to American businesses that produce physically packaged products (IE: products that are packaged in boxes, shrink film, stretch film, bottles, etc.) 6. All photos submitted will become the property of Industrial Packaging and may be used for any future promotional or marketing campaigns as seen fit by Industrial Packaging. 7. The contest runs from 12 AM October 1rst, 2022, until 12 AM December 31rst 2022. 8.
