Hey guys,

Liz Moorehead and I record Content Lab each week. I use Audacity to produce it, but I find it to be glitchy at times.

What is anyone else using? (preferably something that's free)

I never have, or ever will, use a free piece of software for editing. Call me picky but usually free doesn't come with the tools you really need. My go-to has always been Adobe Audition. Before it was audition, it was called Cool Edit Pro from Syntrillium Software. Even then, the bootleg copies of that program would do you no good without a working key. Haha. Let's be honest, if you're serious about your craft, you will invest in the tools you need to get the job done correctly. Unfortunately, it's very rare these tools are free. If they are, they usually end up monetizing them after they become popular and you will end up paying anyways.
