About

My focus is on achieving absolute commercial success for your programme. There are always wider less tangible benefits to be found with 'They Ask You Answer' and that's great - a happier team who work better together, streamlined systems etc. are all wonderful but the bedrock is solid measurable commercial success.

Connor DeLaney  I'm not feeling a shortage in any area but personally always want more on assignment selling - it's so powerful and can be done early in the engagement with client so is a very big thing for me.
Has everyone seen the update Google rolled out to desktop search pages earlier this month? For a while now mobile has been a continuous scroll experience, but desktop stayed locked into 10 result pages.
Now they’ve pushed that update to desktop results as well. Meaning, instead of clicking to page 2 after ten results… you’ll just scroll on down.
So what?
This small update could potentially drive some big changes for folks stuck at the...

not showing up in the UK yet but interested to see what happens.
Imagine you’re a salesperson who is just about to finish your Discovery/Sales call with a client.

You’ve gone on this fantastic monologue about the benefits of your services, hit all the points, vanguarded, worked through all the most common roadblocks a buyer might have, and nailed this discussion.

You are wrapping up your final thoughts, getting them to the next steps, and you hit them with...

“Does that make sense? Any questions?” Silence...

YES ! If someone asks me 'Does that make sense?' I KNOW that they really truly don't care and are using it to bulldoze me onto the next thing. Nobody dare say 'no'!
Hey y'all,This week I'm going to leave the question wide open for your front of mind thoughts on the topic...Is it more important to be liked or respected? Why?What say you?

Respected. You can't lead a business well and aim to be liked. Giving everyone the afternoon off and doubling their pay doesn't make sense for the business but you'd be well liked!
Hey folks :)What I am curious about with this question is:
  • Do we really know what to look out for?
  • Are we aware enough to spot burnout (in others, and ourselves)?
  • Do we know what to do about it and how to help?
  • How do my own behaviours affect others (Am I 'accidentally' encouraging burnout?)
What's your experience? What area do you need more help in?Looking forward to your thoughts on this topic :)Chris.

We did a 30 minute podcast trying to answer this - not sure we did...
Our team published this article just over a week ago and I've been hearing a lot of great feedback from agency owners and team members alike who are taking this insight and applying it right away.

Number 5 stands out in particular: Celebrate successes and small wins. The keyword for me in that section is momentum. We're playing the long game with inbound sales and marketing and you need to recognize as many opportunities as possible to...

Great article. We all have a desire to promise huge success to prospects - indeed a recent client has even filled in the goals: going from 10 leads a month to 10 a DAY! This part of it is quite tricky but our initial goal is to make sure there is a positive ROI on using our services. After that things become less tense. Agree that there should be more celebrating small wins along the way.
Hi,Our Wordpress site was sitting nicely in the 90+ speed rating on Google but since installing Hubspot it has slowed down to a score around 18/100. I know this is a common issue but nobody seems to have a solution. We are in touch with Hubspot about it but wondered if anyone else had this issue ?

I know this wasn't a "typical summer" but I'm curious to see how many leaders we have in here that took some time off this summer. Now that September has just started, I want to know who is geared up to take their business to that next level! Is that you?If it is, I'd love to hear why....it's time to brag, so go all out in the comments!
