Good morning Content Community!

I've been noticing lately that my low-tier wireless keyboard has been letting me down lately.

It's been missing keystrokes, keys sticking (so if I'm backspacing I lose whole chunks of sentences ) , and other deal-breaking "features" especially when writing content.

I've done all I can from a software perspective so I think it's time for an upgrade.

So, what are you all using? Have you found that certain types of keyboards or certain features tend to work better than others?

Wired vs. wireless?
Standard keyboard vs. gaming keyboard?
Mechanical vs. optical switches?

Thanks! See More

Wired Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. I like my hands well spaced and have worn the letters off this one over the last 4 years. I guess I do a lot of pounding ;)
I recently finished reading Oren Klaff's book Flip the Script and it's been on my mind for days as I tried to separate the useful bits of strategy from the stories and examples that made my blood boil. (His other book, Pitch Anything, is still on my list...)

Which got me wondering a few things...
1. Have you read this book? Did you feel the same way? Is it just me?
2. What's the worst business book you've ever read and why? How about the best?

Also, anyone want to weigh in on a few other books I have on my list to read? I'm considering: Think Again (Adam Grant) Game Thinking (Amy Jo Kim PhD) Hooked (Nir Eyal) A World Without Email (Cal Newport) Badass (Kathy Sierra) Gameify (Biran Burke) The Forever Transaction (this one was just delivered... If you haven't experienced this problem, you will, and it's coming. Hopefully, you can prepare for it. I wasn't and I am dealing with it now. Or maybe you've gone through it and you can provide me some additional consult.

Let me explain.

We started our relationship with Marcus over 3 1/2 years ago and have continued strengthening our content strategy with the rest of the iMPACT team the last few years. We have been so successful at what we've been taught. When I say successful, I mean we are seeing the results that all of you have been seeing if you've implemented what you've been taught. Yes, we have seen our traffic explode with our content ranking, more qualified leads coming in, building a better relationship with our sales team by... See More
Most of us should be creating similar content in written and video form. We recently compared the successes of our blogs vs. videos. We discovered a few videos with similar KWs to our blogs that weren't performing at the same level. The traffic volume wasn't getting the same results in Google Search vs. YouTube views. At a closer look, we found there was an issue with our implementation on YouTube of these specific videos. A quick update to the tagging, keywords, description, we saw a big uptick in stats for these underperformers. Putting your content up against itself is a great check and balance. See More
Good morning all!

I'm new to TAYA, and unfortunately am constantly struggling with the Vidyard app. After recording videos, the app freezes and become unresponsive. I've removed and reinstalled the app with the same results.

Is there a better video service solution? With this being so new to me, I just feel demoralized because I'm fighting the technology every step of the way... See More

We have been using the desktop app for months now and it works great. Also, try their support team. They are pretty good and resourceful.

I've heard A LOT of clever buy-in tactics from leaders trying to "earn" their sales teams' attention.

What is ONE THING you've done that successfully earned more sales team buy-in? See More

Ask, listen, and then build content that they actually see the value of so that they adopt using it. Include them in the entire creative process so they take ownership of the content as if it was their own.

About a year ago we moved from an industry CRM to SalesForce. We have been using HubSpot for much longer. We have integrated the two, but we would be very interested in discussing and networking to learn some best practices of this integration. We have also integrated our platform with ZoomInfo and would be happy to share that too. See More
