About

My passion lies in the world of Digital Sales & Marketing, but more specifically,  I love helping individuals within the digital sales & marketing world grow, find their passion and become digital sales & marketing superheroes that make the world a better place, by executing fantastic human-centric sales & marketing initiatives.

Currently, I am at a point in my career where I want to give back to the industry that has treated me so well over the last 20+ years, and help more individuals grow within the digital sales & marketing industry through education, engagement, being inspiring and inspired, and elevating people in their careers. Whether these individuals are masters at their craft or brand new to digital sales & marketing, my goal is to help them succeed.

As an agency owner, I have been able to accomplish this on a small scale, one business at a time, but as a member of the board of directors, currently serving as President, of the Utah Digital Marketing Collective, my joy comes from being able to do this at a much larger scale, by bringing the local, and now national/international community together, to learn from some of the best digital marketing experts in the world, with up to date and real-world tactics and case studies.

And now, I am so excited to be a part of They Ask, You Answer, and becoming a certified coach. I believe this will be the best way for me to help more people hone their craft and grow, at a much larger scale.

Is it a thing? Has this discussion come up before?

This question came up in an off-topic conversation in Cohort 9 when considering the challenges of solopreneurs taking on larger companies.

I'm curious, from the community and fellow cohorts before us if anyone has:

1. Has collaborated in a coaching engagement?
2. Has any interest in doing this?

If there were any interest, it would be cool if Impact+ could help shepherd the process in any way....

Hey there,  Nate - Great question. Thanks for the tag,  Dia Vavruska !

Nate, as a solo shop here, this is something that is def on my radar. But, I have not been able to figure a way that would truly make it work for all. I imagine I will need/want to hire someone over the next year or so, what would the interim be? How would a few band together to create a shared resource, and also aligns with how we, as separate businesses, do business?

I like your enthusiastic post below, replying to Dia. My brain goes to gig economy too. But, again, gig workers march to their own drum.

I am really hoping I can figure out a way, curriculum, that really allows me to focus on "coaching" and the IM+ content acts as the trainer, with slight oversight from me as a coach. I am looking forward to hearing more from Impact on how they are doing working with the SMB coach only model.

Another thing I have been thinking about is group coaching/training with multiple clients at a time. So, 1:1 coaching as planned, but training happens X times a month, clients show up to that, get questions answered in a group setting, people also learn through osmosis and peer validation.  In this scenario, a well trained trainer could possibly be the trainer for multiple coaches at once. Would also need to have each coach be aligned on how said trainer would present themselves as a representative of all of us.

That said, and in the spirit of your enthusiastic post below, I could see this is a possible job placement kind of service eventually too. Kind of like re-thinking recruiting for companies needing content, video, HubSpot employees that follow along with TAYA. Disrupt that whole model. As I type that, I see that needs more fleshing out. Just trying to solve for the problem we see coming up, especially if we want to me helping more mid-market companies, from the how do WE do it, to the how can we help the client fill the roles as well.

Anyway... LMK if you would like to chat one of these days and discuss further. I know this is something  Hannah Eisenberg  is looking to possibly solve for as well.
