Having watched the IMPACT course on cleaning up data, I'd love to hear what others are doing. Of course, what lists you create will depend on your business, but I'm generally interested in different approaches.

In the aftermath of the iOS 15 Update in Sept 2021 and now not being able to accurately measure email opens, what are the most effective criteria (across all properties) to clean disengaged non-customers from HubSpot?

Clicks and replies may be a better measure of engagement than opens, but when it comes to marketing emails, just because they don't click or reply, they could still be a good lead...especially if there's no reason to get them to click anywhere, just reading the email is fine. With most of my clients, we are now validating emails, but we aren't cleaning them out unless they don't pass validation. We don't really know who is reading what anymore, so why remove a possible opportunity? They did give us their email. Basically, we're sitting tight until we learn a new way to measure effectiveness. It's a good question though and I'll be interested to hear what others say.

Does anyone have something like this they use? Does Impact have this? Or maybe HubSpot?

Hi Mary! Have you tried using the Reports|Analytics Tools|Traffic Analytics report? That will have your Sources. You can then click Referral to drill down into the Referral sources. This is nice because it ties back to contact creation and lifecycle stages for all of your sources.

I've been getting bombarded with VA agencies lately and took a call with one today. They are called The VA Group. I wonder if anyone has experiences they would like to share about hiring a VA and/or a VA agency?

Everything the VA Group said sounded great, but this is my first foray into using a VA, and I want to educate myself a bit.

Can you believe it? We're almost halfway through Q3 2021.

With that in mind, what's one thing that you're focusing on as we approach the downhill slide into Q4 or the end game of 2021?

Consider this as a save point/check point where you can pause and define that focus if the fact that we're 3/4 through the year was a rude awakening.

My major focus for the rest of Q3 is doubling down on my education. Courses, certifications, talks, seminars - I'm digging deep into them again because I personally saw great benefits the last time I put education on the front burner.

Funny you should mention that.. I am all about reporting these days. Trying to dig deeper into HubSpot reporting and Google Analytics, Tag Manager (events), and Data Studio. I'm learning more about storytelling with data rather than dumping numbers. The Tag Manager piece has been challenging, but what's life without challenges!

Does anyone have any thoughts on Vidyard vs Vimeo? We are just starting our video journey and would probably start on basic plans for either. We don't like the Vidyard ad in the free version either. Hoping we don't have to have it if we pay for Pro. We just need a clean way for our sales team to send out videos to prospects, know if they at least started watching a video, and have the ability to trigger a workflow in HubSpot from that event.
