I didn't want to bury the lead but I went to make a new sandbox for a client and was blind-sided by this (they're Enterprise-level across all Hubs).

I could've sworn you used to be able to have multiple sandboxes...

I don't know anything about this (we don't use HubSpot, yet.) But, I was watching a TV show the other day with captions on, like we do all the time here, and someone used the phrase "Bury the lede" and I was a bit surprised to see it spelled that way. I looked it up, and sure enough "lede" is the correct spelling. Thought I could be helpful in just a small way here. ;-)

Interesting! I imagine it's like "champing at the bit" vs. "chomping at the bit".

Hmmmm I can't actually remember whether or not they ever said you could have multiple... I wonder if that's something that's coming they maybe just don't have enough service space for it or something?

I could be totally recalling this incorrectly but I remember there being a sandbox benefit at the Enterprise service level. A number of folks at my company have this similar though also vague-ish memory of that as well that at an Enterprise service level you could just spin up sandboxes as needed. Maybe it's some sort of Mandela effect situation 😅

Hmmm yeah maybe someone at INBOUND said something erroneous? This is what is the in the actual update that got released on it:
