The instructor recommended a book that I'm now recommending to you :-)
The Human Element: Overcoming the Resistance That Awaits New Ideas is sure to become a classic.
It explains the "four frictions" that operate against every innovative idea, product, or service, and how to overcome them.
As soon as you start reading it, you'll be nodding your head as you recognize the examples they share and you'll think "OF COURSE!" when they explain why it's so hard to persuade people to embrace a new idea, product, or process. Even when it's ultimately good for them.
I'm a few chapters in but had to share it with you.
