Content Updates for Whole-Company Alignment

Hi all! Becca Manganello encouraged me to share my content update process. I've been using it since last June to keep our entire company (16 of us) informed about new blogs on Zoe Marketing & Communication's website.

Each week, I send out a simple email + quick Vidyard (2-3 minutes tops, usually) highlighting the new content. I try to mention how sales can use it, and/or how it's valuable to our in-house team — as well as folks that may find it while Googling. I also post it to our "announcements" channel in Slack, which we use for team communication.

Here's a recent sample of the email/Vidyard. (Please note, I don't have the paid version of Vidyard, so this example may disappear in a few months — as I have to delete old videos due to volume limits.) I've also copied the content below. Thanks! ~Kim

Becca Manganello You're welcome! We also have a Slack "celebrations" channel where I occasionally share updates about content that's done well, thank an SME who's been extra helpful, etc. Anything to bring content into the "mainstream" helps!

I just got off a leadership call with a client and we were talking about adoption too. The thing that resonated with their team was to put their radar up to capture little bitty wins every day.

An example was to share 2-3 minutes of a sales call where the prospect was commenting on how helpful the content they got before the call was super helpful. Ect

This allows us as leaders to get more people involved in the company with evidence, not just warm and happy words!

This is great. Our content manager,  Sarah Etler also does this. One thing she has done, as well, is created a Content Organizer that makes it super easy for the revenue team to find relevant articles. Perhaps you won't need something like this if you have a better search feature than we currently do in our learning center. Still, even if you did, I really like this spreadsheet that lays it all out simply and gives the relevant links and some suggested text to use when interacting with prospects/customers.
