Hello all!
My name is Brittany and I have recently became the full time marketing assistant and Videographer for Vermost Insurance Agency. While creating content is something I've done for a while now, marketing is a whole new challenge that I am learning as I go.
I am looking for a program that can help me schedule social media posts across multiple platforms, that also has capabilities to track KPI's, website clicks and anything else that might be important! I've heard HubSpot and Sprout social are popular options but I would love to hear what you all have been using and any advice you can give me.
Thank you!

I've been working on a lot of different pieces of content lately. I have to give a presentation next week to a bunch of insurance agents on a new flood insurance program.
This new program is basically the first update in 60 years and it's very complex.
So I've been trying to find a way to simplify it and help people understand it.
Then it hit me you can't just go from the Nintendo to Nintendo Switch over night.
You have to learn and apply to change.
So I'll be discussing some of the dangers of trying to go from the 1950's to 2021 See More

Good day all,
With Q3 rapidly winding to a close, what was your biggest takeaway or win from the past 3 months?
Or, if there's still one more mountain you are aiming to climb before September closes, feel free to share that goal as well.
For me the biggest takeaway was that my investment in learning and the drive towards continual education paid figurative dividends in a big way. It also proved and cemented for that it'sso worthwhile and rewarding.

We are looking to hire a company to help us develop our Standard Operating Procedures and Training Manuals. We'd love to have someone who has a good grasp on how to develop these procedures (being able to ask the right questions) and can help create written content, as well as video. We don't want this to just be busy-work but have a final product that can be used by both our existing franchises and new franchises, whenever they have a question about anything related to the operation of their business. Has anyone worked with companies that they would recommend?

We are a piano lesson studio. And we have a quiz on our site as the main call to action. They take this quiz to see if they are ready for lessons. We email them their results and show them their results on the next screen.
With this email we nurture them and send them email spread out over the next month.
On the thank you page we offer them a free intro lesson.
My question is should I have this quiz be gated at the end and allow them to go through to the thank you page without providing their email.
Or is is smart to ask for their email so we can follow up?

Dear IMPACT + Team,
The goal is looking for that tie-breaker. I have one week left on this. I have 4 votes on slow/sluggish computers; 3 on internet connectivity and 1 vote on data loss.
Looking for Poll/Survey Help I am doing a very important poll/survey and would appreciate it if I got some feedback on it.
Question:
What is the "1" Technology pain point that customers hate having to deal with all the time?
1.) slow/sluggish computer 2.) virus and malware infections 3.) outdated software 4.)internet connectivity 5.) printing problems 6.) data loss 7.) employee theft

If you are in sales, or even if you are just customer-facing, I encourage you to take IMPACT+'s course: Fundamentals of virtual selling
1. It's authored by the man himself - Marcus Sheridan (educational AND entertaining)
2. This course alone is worth the investment into IMPACT+ Pro
3. I get to be personally trained by Marcus and IMPACT's coaches and this course helped me realize:
a. repetition helps
b. I've forgotten a few fundamentals
c. Even the most seasoned sales-professional can improve in a few key areas
So do yourself a favor and take one hour and 11 minutes out of your week this week to watch this course.
Then practice with your peers and apply the basics to your sales calls. Your customers and your company will love you for... See More

Happy Monday IMPACT Plus!
Curious as to what everyone is reading/just finished. I'm about to wrap up Exponential Organizations by Salim Ismail and just started Think Again by Adam Grant.
One of my favorite takeaways from EO is that the "half-life" of a learned skill used to be 30 years, but that has been reduced to 5 years with the rapid pace of learning in today's world.
So, I'm curious... What are you reading and what are your current takeaways?
I'm keeping track of all of my books in our Better Book Club and hope to see y'all in there as well! See More

I was listening to an Impact Plus group and found one new resource, and thought I'd ask for more here.
I'm interested in
video creation and editing using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
social media for YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest - especially changes and improving what I do
anything to improve my course, community, or coaching
To make this beneficial to more people, perhaps you want to use a standard format so it is easily searchable:
topic / URL / any comments
I'll start it off by posting the resource I found in the ImpactPlus group:
After Effects/Premiere https://motionarray.com lots of resources, some free

Can you believe it? We're almost halfway through Q3 2021.
With that in mind, what's one thing that you're focusing on as we approach the downhill slide into Q4 or the end game of 2021?
Consider this as a save point/check point where you can pause and define that focus if the fact that we're 3/4 through the year was a rude awakening.
My major focus for the rest of Q3 is doubling down on my education. Courses, certifications, talks, seminars - I'm digging deep into them again because I personally saw great benefits the last time I put education on the front burner.

I am looking for a simple bot to handle my FAQs on a Squarespace site. The Squarespace search function is very clumsy and inconvenient.

I've always used dark mode in all my apps, email, google sheets etc. and it has rarely been an issue (although, I do use outlook's switch to turn on light mode in emails often).
But, I know Google Chrome has been rolling out dark mode for their browser to users (my fiance had it before me so I thought it might be user testing) and now with my update this morning, all the websites I visit are in dark mode and I honestly prefer it this way.
So my questions are:
I'm curious to know how many people use dark mode on their computer. Most of my friends do so I assumed it was a pretty widely adopted thing...but I'm the only person on my team at work that uses it as far as I know.
Do you think this will affect website design? I looked around on our... See More

One of the things I find to be equal parts fascinating and completely frustrating is the "inside baseball" side of SEO. There's this whole world of seemingly super technical stuff that influences how well our ideal buyers are able (or not able to) discover the content we're creating for them.
And yet these stories are often shoved aside or dismissed as being irrelevant.
This story is just one example. It's easy to think that stories about "internal linking" and site structure are too abstract for you to care about or understand, but that's not the case.
As I said in that article:
"... while it's easy to dismiss these little morsels of strategic SEO expertise as being "too in the weeds" to be relevant to how well your content strategy gets... See More

Here's an interesting piece from Digiday about returning to the office. The Wall Street Journal had a story recently about people who are quitting their old jobs instead of heading back into the office.
So, what's the reality on the ground? Here at IMPACT, we're mostly remote anyway, so we haven't been affected all that much.
But for anyone else out there, are you back in the office full time? Are you hybrid? Are you still remote? And, if you're remote, does your company plan to downsize office space if more people are working from home?
And, most important of all: Who's making the decisions about how/where work happens?
The long-range implications of all of this could be huge. See More

Sorry, this is long...
Here's the portrait:
Back in 2020, I had a consulting/social media management agency. I was tired and wanted out of having my hands in the production part of things. You know "work on your business, not in your business", so I hired my first full-time employee.
The pandemic hit, we lost a few clients but gain way more. Which is great but still had my hands shoulder-deep in the production part of things (aka doing the work for the client).
THE BEGINNING
Many entrepreneurs were coming to me saying "many VA's offer social media management but few actually do anything more than post content. They don't have the marketing strategy, and no ROI, etc.."
On the other hand, VA's were coming to me requesting training to... See More
