We've been struggling to measure the performance of all the great content we're developing. I have 2 questions:1. I'm curious to hear what others are currently tracking and measuring!2. We're using HubSpot, and we have content in our blog (in both English and French), as well as longer form content built in web pages and landing pages (case studies, ultimate guides). This may be a rookie question, but does anyone know how we can build...
Hey there content managers! When you come up with a content idea, how do you decide if it should turn into an article, a video, or both? We've got a process that feels subjective. I'm wondering what other organizations do.

Hi everyone, I am new to this community, and I'd love to have your input. As I listen to @Liz Moorehead's course "How to Build a Content Strategy", I am trying to figure out if I understand the topic cluster's concept well. As Liz explains, I need to think about what I want my company to be known for.The website I am building is focused on one technology. Imagine that this technology is blockchain. My initial thought is, "okay, blockchain is...

I've been putting together a master fast fact file at work to make writing our content easier. This master file will help us write our business one-sheets. Just curious if anyone had any best practices or tips for writing one-sheets. Things to include that they may not have realized were needed, experiences as a result of the one-sheets, things of that nature.

Hey content writers!
I imagine some of us out here are armies of one — serving as both writer and editor in our organizations
What are your tips for editing your own work? How do you bring a fresh set of eyes to something you yourself have written?
Liz Murphy ? ? Ramona Sukhraj ? Jennifer Barrell ? Stephanie Hurd ? A penny for your thoughts.

Hello! I recently wrote an article and pitched it to our local newspaper for an upcoming insert specific to my industry. Great news is that the editor liked it and is going to publish it! Bad news is that due to space constraints she had to significantly reduce the length of the article. I understand the minimal approach for the newspaper article, but there's a lot of good stuff in the full article that I really want to post on our blog....

Hello!I just hired our first Content Manager at Enrollment Builders and I am SOOO excited for her to get started here. https://www.enrollmentbuilders.com/careers-content-digital-marketing-manager What are the top 3 things you wish your boss/company had done for you when you got started to make you more successful? I want to make sure she is able to reach her potential here! : )Also, given all of our Impact's opportunities, what do YOU feel...

For me, it was a close photo disaster. I had to take a photo OF a photo that was in a frame of my boss and his wife.
This is NOT that photo, but the one originally used as the feature photo for this post included a reflection of “yours truly.” Yep, right on my bosses’ black jacket—there was my reflection! Ha!I actually didn’t find it until I published the post. But… I quickly went...

Hey all!
I'm writing an article that will provide actionable steps for new Content Managers to take within their first 90 days in order to set themselves up for success (and wow their boss!).
What advice would you give to someone stepping into the Content Manager role at a new company?
Let me know, thanks!!
Please note: I will use answers within my article and cite your name, title and company

Hi all,Does anyone have any handy tips for briefing/feeding back to outsourced writers?I'm pretty new to using outside help for written content creation...I've done it a couple of times recently with two different writers with varying results. I have tendancy to over-edit too, which I know isn't great and perhaps more a reflection on my briefing skills!Any advice is greatly appreciated.I remember seeing a video clip Liz Moorehead did...

Hey friends!
I'm on the hunt for examples of websites/apps/brands with great Inclusive UX (i.e. Pinterest's skin tone selector, Twitter's language selector, pro-noun fields on forms, etc).
What are some of the best you've come across? Share and link them in a comment below! :) Thanks!

Wondering if anyone has experience with video ABM and what they think about the strategy.I'm in the B2B martech space. The baseline video with custom product feeds (i.e. Sephora or Gucci products) is time-consuming to design, but could potentially be worth it.What are your thoughts? Are there better alternatives?Has anyone experimented with Webflow for ABM product walkthroughs?

I'm re-reading They Ask, You Answer, and I am challenging myself to do one new article for each section as I read. My side business is my needle felting art, not your typical TAYA audience. Here is a cost article I am working on: https://www.needlefeltedfuzzies.com/costofpetportrait

I just wrote my "best of" article as part of my journey in writing "The Big 5" and spent a lot time trying to figure out what the most effective title would be. The customers I'm trying to target don't necessarily know that they need "website archiving", and therefor don't search that phrase.
However, since I know what it's like to be a customer in the "website archiving" space, I've typically searched for the phrase "best Wayback Machine...

Last week I reached out for advice regarding how to write a cost article when there isn't much variety in pricing. Chris Marr quickly replied with some excellent tips, which was enough for me to at least get started.
I'm happy to say that I published my first cost article this morning, and wanted to share it with everyone in the hopes of receiving some feedback. A few notes are below.

- I'm fortunate enough to not be in a competitive space....

Hey Content Managers! Since you would probably be the go-to for newsletters, I'm looking for tips, ideas, examples, and inspiration you use for newsletters. These could be examples of newsletters you really like, sections you enjoy seeing in the newsletters, or maybe even things you really don't like seeing!I ask because I want to continue innovating our IMPACT+ Digest that I send each Tuesday as well as looking for inspiration for a new...

I'm working on an SaaS application in a not so competitive space. Because of this, I think I'm in a perfect situation to lean into "The Big 5".I want to start with the cost article, but unlike other industries, I'm finding that there isn't much variation in cost. Should I just simply list the cost of the other SaaS applications in my space? Would that just duplicate efforts when I eventually write my review article?

I'm interested in the topic of newsletters. What's the best way for me to do a kind of universal search on that topic?
Hello! I was wondering if Impact has a documented content operations framework they'd be willing to share or any key tips for building one. For context, we're scaling our content efforts and feeling the need to build a structure around content development processes (people, tools, workflows, governance, etc.) to become more efficient and maximize our very lean resources. Any guidance would be appreciated!
