Just a quick item of consideration for people just getting started or those who are only in the first or second year of TAYA content protocols. It took us 5 years to kick off the bonfire of revenue we are currently bringing in with a "spark" that was one blog post that started bringing real money around the three-year mark. But, one of the most interesting things I have noticed about the posts that make us the biggest money is that the blogs...

Hey everyone! In our last Content Manager Mastermind, I mentioned that I'm getting buy-in around conducting monthly interviews with our (regional MSP) service team of about 13 engineers and technicians to drum up some more content ideas. I took Liz's excellent content brainstorm cheat sheet and adapted some of the questions to try to pull some ideas out of those in a more customer service and technical role. I'll be trying it out soon, but...

We all love HubSpot, but I'm interested in hearing what other platforms or tools people have used to measure the ROI of their content? Anyone out there use Parsely? Tableau? Momently? Cyfe? Anything else?
What else is out there?

Hey there Content peeps!
I'm excited to show off our brand-new Learning Center at E-N Computers:
https://www.encomputers.com/learning-center/
We've had a "learning center" button on our menu bar since our website relaunch last year, but it was pretty terrible - basically just links to our blog archive and some other random pages. Our category/tag structure was a mess too, with tons of duplicates, meaningless categories, and everything else...

I'm working on the first article in a series for IMPACT and I was curious about the best way to position the articles to be recognizable as a series and still SEO friendly + valuable for someone who hadn't read any previous articles in the series. If you have any examples of article series you publish each month, that'd be amazing for inspiration as well. Thanks!

Hello from New Zealand !!
I'm on a mission to create a pillar page. My first attempt. The page will be an "ultimate guide" to help anyone wishing to hike the world famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing.
My question:I will write a detailed description of the track itself. It will include geology, volcanology, vegetation, physical features etc. Do I include this in the pillar page or as a subtopic as a blog post?
How does one decide to include all the...

For content managers, how do you balance the thoroughness that Google likes to see with the scanability and brevity your sales team might want for assignment selling pieces? Can the same piece serve both ends?
I have my ideas, but I'd be interested in hearing yours!

As we write Best Of, Reviews, and Versus articles my team continues to discuss whether or not we should link to competitors in our articles. I've had mixed feelings about linking vs. not linking.

When it comes to writing They Ask, You Answer content, I've always been told to make sure the titles (and the goal) of your article are really specific to the audience and what questions they are looking to have answered.
I began working on the article above with the title What are the benefits of IMPACT+ for small businesses, and as I was drafting it, Paul D. Grant and I realized that the purpose of this article was not how great IMPACT+...

Dear iMPACT plus Team, I don't know if there is anyone here familiar with Simon Sinek's work or not. But I have been working on this project for a year if not more. But so many people have rejected me .I can't do this alone, so I am asking nicely if there is anyone that can help me. I worked with 8 people on this and nothing. One person said that my theme was adversity.

Ever since the core web vitals Google ranking update was announced, I have been trying to get our website up to speed (pun intended). In the beginning, I did a lot of research, tried to find out if I could fix things myself, and then ultimately found that the outside website team we use would have to perform updates.
This website team has been working since March to try different fixes for our website to improve our LCP and CLS scores. They...

Should I spend more money to have someone come up with frequently asked questions for my business website or not?

Dear Impact Plus Team, Tom DiScipio has informed me that option 2 in creating a "in-between page, like the one on the website that was linked in the main news feed. Like this one sample from another company would be the best route to go. But I also did not want to waste upgrading my basic plan to pro for calendly, so I added 5 more events to the booking page....

A quick story on not asking for help when it comes to editing
As ALL of you may have noticed, yesterday I sent out an email with a typo in the subject line that was, well, pretty darn obvious. While ANNOU
Hello! I'm starting to get more opportunities to visit our customer sites, which has been great to better understand our customers and the industries we serve (I'm new to industrial marketing and having to wear steel toe boots :) ).As marketers, what kinds of questions do you ask when you interact with your customers?

I'm looking for a talented Content Manager to join my team!
It's the perfect opportunity for someone who loves writing, editing, optimizing, and watching your content efforts drive sales.
Check it out if you or someone you know may be interested

Hi!We've been making a lot of videos that require us to purchase voiceovers for each one - which can get expensive.Does anyone know of any voiceover websites that offer subscriptions (similar to what you can find for background music, photos, etc.)?Or, does anyone has experience finding one voiceover artist to become your company's voice? Or know where to look for one? We're open to any and all ideas if anyone has run into this same...

I noticed a new (at least new to me) feature on our company LinkedIn page that lets you recommend curated content for employees at your company to share on their personal profiles. In the analytics for your page, I believe you can see who shared these posts, which of their connections interacted with those posts, etc.One of my big goals has been to try to get our brokers (we are a commercial real estate firm) to share our articles, resources,...

Take a quick minute and thirty-four seconds to watch this video on why we'll be talking about using personality in your content. This should be a really fun and interesting topic to dive into.

Last week we published a versus article and the competitor we included sent a formal letter to our company's founder/president requesting we either remove the post or make their "requested corrections."While we had one factually incorrect item within the piece, the bulk of their asks were clearly to have us use their wording instead of our own.I'm very confident in how we'll respond and address it, and leadership fully backs up what we're...
