Hello! I hope everyone's doing well. I'd love to see if it's possible to have a session with someone who I can practice role-play interviews with (I have an upcoming interview this Thursday). This is for a consulting role, and any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Have a great day! See More
We had a fantastic discussion around this topic of "staying on the path" in our Executives mastermind group this week and I want to open that discussion to the larger leadership community.

Some thoughts we shared around sticking to the fundamentals: It starts with the leaders of your organization to live and breathe these principles The team will linger to their old ways if the habits are not regularly reinforced and recognized AND when challenges arise in their roles Building a strong foundation for content creation and consumption through your website, CRM, and staff is crucial Always celebrate the wins and lessons learned, big or small Content managers and videographers deserve to have a seat at the table and should be integrated into... I took this course not to long ago and figured I'd spread the word! Audio is definitely my weakest skill, and this guy had some awesome tricks like automatically ducking the music to your speaker. He probably saved me like 10-20mins per video.
Let me know if you guys check it out! See More
Hey everyone!

I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle cleaning out contacts that have hard bounced, soft bounced, etc.

Is this something that is recommended to be done every 3 months or something like that?

Thanks! See More
Hello all!

My name is Brittany and I have recently became the full time marketing assistant and Videographer for Vermost Insurance Agency. While creating content is something I've done for a while now, marketing is a whole new challenge that I am learning as I go.

I am looking for a program that can help me schedule social media posts across multiple platforms, that also has capabilities to track KPI's, website clicks and anything else that might be important! I've heard HubSpot and Sprout social are popular options but I would love to hear what you all have been using and any advice you can give me.

Thank you!

I've been working on a lot of different pieces of content lately. I have to give a presentation next week to a bunch of insurance agents on a new flood insurance program.

This new program is basically the first update in 60 years and it's very complex.

So I've been trying to find a way to simplify it and help people understand it.

Then it hit me you can't just go from the Nintendo to Nintendo Switch over night.

You have to learn and apply to change.

So I'll be discussing some of the dangers of trying to go from the 1950's to 2021 See More
Kevin Church shared this great article from The Verge about Google's recent move to better integrate MUM into their organic search algorithm

What does this mean for you? It means context will play a larger role in the categorization and ranking of search content!! Further, websites that cover topics in a more in-depth content structure (*cough cough* They Ask, You Answer *cough cough*) are going to benefit and see a boost in their rankings and performance.

Whether you're a content manager or someone passionate about getting your website to rank better, it sounds like we're on the right trail forward! Give the article a read and share your thoughts below! See More
As many of us are already aware, we experienced one of the largest and most impactful tech outages of all time.

The Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp outage of 2021 impacted millions of individuals and businesses worldwide and sent shockwaves through the internet.

Given the massive reach of Facebook and it's associated platforms (larger than 3.5 billion people) it felt as if the world stopped for several hours to watch the chaos unfold.

Here's what's on my mind: How were you impacted by the outage? What lessons can be learned from an outage like this? How can businesses and individuals better prepare when something like this inevitably happens again in the future? The article linked above does a nice job of capturing how the day unfolded and the... See More

We all love HubSpot, but I'm interested in hearing what other platforms or tools people have used to measure the ROI of their content? Anyone out there use Parsely? Tableau? Momently? Cyfe? Anything else?

What else is out there?

Hi Hubspotters! I hope you are all so well.

I am looking for an easy way to track sales reach outs in the sales process before calling a deal "dead". Is there a way to pull this data in an easily trackable form?

1) You filled out a form to connect with us- automatically creating a deal in our dash
2) Sales reaches out to you with no contact on first, second, third, and so on times.
3) Sales called deal dead and places in "Struck out"/closed-lost.

I want to be able to see that we are making the appropriate amount of touches for first interactions and in between if possible (say going from qualified to proposal shared).

Make sense? Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help in advance!

If you haven't heard, Apple's been rolling out new features that allow users to opt out of email tracking, as well as to effectively hide their personal email address (think: burner email addresses).

The big question then becomes:what the heck does this actually mean for me and my email marketing in HubSpot?

Well lucky for you (and me), the HubSpot gods have heard and answered our prayers!

Here's an awesome breakdown of what the updates are and how exactly they'll effect things in HubSpot (like: open rates, contact properties, workflows, etc).

How is everyone else feeling about these updates now that they're actually going live?? See More

In the sales mastermind today we were talking about ways to make videos that are custom-recorded for one person actually personalized so the person knows, before even clicking play, that the video is just for them.

When it comes to video selling, whether pre-recorded or live on a video sales call, how do you make your interactions more personal?

Some things we discussed were: Whiteboard with their name in a thumbnail Shared screen with their website, LinkedIn, etc. in the thumbnail Changing your virtual background to something relevant to the prospect What have you tried? Any cool ideas to share? See More

Good day all,

With Q3 rapidly winding to a close, what was your biggest takeaway or win from the past 3 months?

Or, if there's still one more mountain you are aiming to climb before September closes, feel free to share that goal as well.

For me the biggest takeaway was that my investment in learning and the drive towards continual education paid figurative dividends in a big way. It also proved and cemented for that it'sso worthwhile and rewarding.

What's yours? See More
I was thinking about the idea of using the They Ask, You Answer methodology to create a stronger and more efficient hiring/onboarding process and the impact it could have.

Here's how I see it playing out:

The potential new hire is framed as the SME.

During the hiring process, we're regularly asking and answering questions between us and them, similar to a content manager interviewing an SME about a specific topic. You go in with knowledge and insight into what you are looking to hire for, and they bring a skillset or approach to fill that.

This back and forth allows us to better gauge if someone is a good fit to work for our company at all, let alone the role they'd be in. So, how can we speed this process up? Craft your job descriptions to... See More
We are looking to hire a company to help us develop our Standard Operating Procedures and Training Manuals. We'd love to have someone who has a good grasp on how to develop these procedures (being able to ask the right questions) and can help create written content, as well as video. We don't want this to just be busy-work but have a final product that can be used by both our existing franchises and new franchises, whenever they have a question about anything related to the operation of their business. Has anyone worked with companies that they would recommend? See More
